Dzięki projektowi Gotowi na wybory! przygotujemy materiały edukacyjne i szkoleniowe dla społecznych obserwatorów wyborów, mężów zaufania oraz kandydatów na członków obwodowych komisji wyborczych. Zorganizujemy również cykl spotkań informacyjnych kierowanych do wyborców, informujących ich jak mogą aktywnie zaangażować się w wybory.

Projekt "Zwiększenie przejrzystości finansów i reklamy politycznej w regionie wyszehradzkim" ma na celu analizę wydatków na reklamę polityczną w mediach spolecznościowych oraz przygotowanie rekomendacji dot. wdrożenia nowych europejskich przepisów regulujących kwestie finansowania kampanii politycznych online.

Wraz z ekspertami z 27 państw Unii Europejskiej opracowaliśmy raport oceniający dostosowanie wyborów do potrzeb osób z niepełnosprawnościami. Na podstawie raportu wypracowano rekomendacje dla rządów, samorządów lokalnych oraz organizacji społeczeństwa obywatelskiego, które mogą stać się bazą dla wspólnych działań na rzecz poprawy dostępności procesu wyborczego dla potrzeb osób z niepełnosprawnościami.

W ramach projektu "Europejscy wyborcy - razem na rzecz integralności wyborów" przeprowadziliśmy badanie identyfikujące główne wyzwania stojące przed wyborami w Polsce, a następnie prowadzimy cykl debat i warsztatów mających na celu pobudzenie dyskusji na ww. tematy wśród obywateli, aktywistów, przedstawicieli mediów, administracji wyborczej oraz świata akademickiego. Projek zakończy się przygotowaniem zestawu materiałów edukacyjnych dla wyborców dot. takich kwestii jak finansowanie kampanii wyborczej, czy dostęp do wyborów dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami.

The project aims to support democratisation and reconciliation in the region by engaging and enhancing the skills of young activists and journalists from six countries in the Western Balkans. Our role in the project is to transfer knowledge of democracy, human rights and free and fair elections to the participants through offline and online training, and involve them in discussions on the shape of the necessary reforms in this regard.

We participated in the development of information on Poland for the annual report of our partner organisation Globsec. The report looks at political and social trends in Central Europe and the Western Balkans. The authors of the report look at such pressing issues as the willingness of populations to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and the propensity to believe in conspiracy theories related to the pandemic.

More than 300 citizen observers took part in the observation mission for the 2020 presidential election, conducting their work across all regions of Poland and in 15 cities abroad. The election, held in the challenging context of the COVID-19 pandemic, was generally well managed, but observers documented a number of procedural irregularities. Common issues included overcrowded polling stations affecting voting secrecy, inconsistent application of procedures by precinct commissions, and difficulties in maintaining health and safety measures. Some observers also noted delays in reporting results and discrepancies in the opening and closing of polling stations.

We monitored the 2020 Polish presidential election campaign on Facebook between 26 March and 12 July 2020. The monitoring focused on content published by candidates and nationwide media outlets, as well as pages and groups that could be used to spread misleading or manipulative information. The aim was to understand better how social media platforms were used to shape public opinion, mobilise voters, and influence the tone of the electoral discourse.

Wraz z ekspertami z ponad 30 krajów (UE, Wielka Brytania i Bałkany) uczestniczyliśmy w opracowaniu raportu dotyczącego wpływu pandemii COVID-19 na wybory w Europie. Raport, poza wyborami, zwraca również uwagę na kwestie zmian w pracach krajowych parlamentów, czy też kwestie ograniczenia praw obywatelskich w związku z użyciem aplikacji do kwarantanny.
