President of the Political Accountability Foundation. Board member of the European Platform for Democratic Elections (EPDE) and the Global Network of Domestic Election Monitors (GNDEM). Graduate of European Studies at the University of Edinburgh and of European interdisciplinary studies at the College of Europe in Natolin. Expert on elections and civil society development. She has participated in and coordinated over 15 observation missions in Poland and abroad - including Ukraine, Senegal and Kyrgyzstan. She is active in supporting civic engagement in Eastern Europe and Central Asia - previously as a coordinator for Belarus at the Batory Foundation, or as a cooperation officer at the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan, and currently as a consultant at the European Endowment for Democracy.

MATEUSZ BAJEK

Video-observations and Russian projects coordinator
For over 10 years, he has participated in international election observation missions across Europe and Asia, including OSCE/ODIHR and OBEC. He specialises in analysing electoral fraud and irregularities, with a focus on video-based observation. Author of How Belarusian Voters Are Cheated, he also developed the Foundation’s video observation methodology in English and Russian. In 2018, he led the Observers in Action mission to Russia, uncovering more than 43,000 stolen votes and 860 electoral offences. Graduate in International Relations and East Slavic Studies from the University of Warsaw. A mushroom enthusiast in summer and autumn, and a traveller to warmer places in winter. HELENA KRAJEWSKA

HELENA KRAJEWSKA

Media Relations Coordinator
Graduate of the College of Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw, where she studied international relations and Latin American and Caribbean cultural studies. She has completed internships at the Central American Parliament and the European Commission, and worked for the Union for the Mediterranean. From 2017 to 2020, she coordinated the press office of the Civil Development Forum (FOR). Currently, she serves as spokeswoman for Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH). ROBERT LECH

Social Media Observation Coordinator
Graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw and holder of a Master’s degree in Business Studies from SIMI in Copenhagen. He has worked with numerous international organisations, including the World Bank, as a financial advisor and project manager. From 1996 to 2001, he served as an election supervisor with OSCE missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, and since 2002 has participated in nearly 30 OSCE/ODIHR and EU election observation missions across Europe, Asia and Africa. He currently trains election observers in Poland with the Solidarity Fund and provides consultancy and management services to SMEs in Poland and abroad.

Cybersecurity expert
Graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Wrocław University of Technology. ICT specialist and information security analyst with experience in data protection and systems security gained at several international companies. Social activist involved with the Manus Foundation, where he worked to engage the student community. Since 2018, he has participated in election observation in Poland with the Political Accountability Foundation and other organisations. At the Foundation, he coordinates projects related to political finance, including election campaign monitoring.

EWA PINTERA

Financial Coordinator
Graduate of the Faculty of International Relations and Political Science at the University of Łódź and of Development Cooperation Studies at the University of Pavia (Italy). She has coordinated democracy support projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as humanitarian assistance initiatives in the Middle East. She observed the 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia with the OSCE/ODIHR mission. At the Solidarity Fund, she worked in the election observation team, co-organising observer trainings and mission deployments.

Expert on the Universality of Elections
Sociologist and doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences Academia Rerum Socialium at Nicolaus Copernicus University. Project leader of “On the Edge of Democracy? The Practice of Exercising the Right to Vote by People Experiencing Homelessness”, carried out under the National Science Centre’s Prelude grant. Her academic interests focus on the universality of elections. Professionally, she works in the research sector, contributing to both social and market research projects.

Lukasz jest statystykiem z 25-letnim doświadczeniem. Współpracował z dużymi firmami badającymi rynek takimi jak Kantar i Ipsos, a także z różnymi organizacjami sektora prywatnego i publicznego. W latach 2017–2022 pełnił funkcję analityka danych podczas dziewięciu misji obserwacyjnych wyborów w Liberii, Sierra Leone, Pakistanie, Nigerii, Ghanie, Zambii, Kenii, na Węgrzech oraz w Bośni i Hercegowinie. Od 2023 r. zaczął uczestniczyć w misjach obserwacyjnych jako analityk mediów społecznościowych w Sierra Leone (2023 r.) i na Sri Lance (2024 r.). Ponadto Lukasz brał udział w projektach pomocy technicznej z IFES i ECES, prowadząc szkolenia statystyczne w Afganistanie (2019, 2020 r.) i Iraku (2022 r.). Zna biegle kluczowe narzędzia statystyczne, w tym R, SPSS, Stata, Statistica i SAS, posługuje się także pakietem QGIS oraz analizuje sieci przy pomocy Gephi. W wolnym czasie lubi jeździć na rowerze, słuchać płyt winylowych, pić whisky i czytać współczesną literaturę — często wszystko naraz.

Political scientist and advocate for the right to information, committed to promoting open government. His goal is to create conditions that enable citizens to exercise effective public oversight — and to show, by example, how it can be done. Though not a technician, he enjoys experimenting with new technologies to enhance traditional watchdog activities. Co-founder of the Stańczyk Foundation and the Political Accountability Foundation, and member of the Citizen Network Watchdog Poland.

ADAM SAWICKI

Long-time NGO practitioner and independent expert on political finance, election campaign monitoring, and corruption prevention. He has served as coordinator, analyst, and trainer in national and international election-related projects, focusing on campaign monitoring and regulatory analysis. He also worked as an analyst on OSCE/ODIHR election observation missions.
